When a licence application is made to the Air Service Licencing Council, it is published in the Government Gazette. I get copies of the Govwernment Gazette daily. Not in any one, going back as far as 6 months, did I see an application made by Maiden Air for an AOC.

In the latest Government Gazette (June10, 2003) Nationwide Airlines is applying to add 5 frequencies per week to Tanzania, and Icelandair is applying for a foreign operators permit to conduct 52 charter flights per year to SA. Nothing on Maiden Air.

Why would a legitimate Airline ask potential crew to cough up 6000 Quid for an interview?

This does not smell kosher boys!
