Swazi Tower Failure
Hi "there" :
Read in the Times of Swaziland newspaper on Saturday January 26th :
"AIR TOWER STILL HELL FOR AIR CONTROLLER
... Air traffic is not yet out of danger at the Matsapha International Airport as the air conditioning system of the air controllers' tower is still faulty despite being checking by a local refrigeration company.
blahblahblah ... it will be solved by the end of next week.
...
According to a source, last week the temperatures were 30°C outside while inside the tower they were five degrees higher.
The officers were left with no option but to go outside and only to return in the evening when the temperatude had dropped.
Since the problem started two weeks ago, there has been no improvement in the tower, as the officers are often suffocated. The situation is a health hazard."
Dunno if they got it fixed...........
