Hey Larsen
If you are ready to fly for food, you may want to try STA MALI. They operate 2 L410s out of Bamako. The boss, Mr. Sabague, is a notorious slave-driver, but if you have nothing else call him: he recruits pilots with very low time, and if you are Let-typed you may catch his attention.
BUT: Do you speak French???
Good luck.

L410´s
Bonjour and that sort.
There are some in Nigeria and Malabo. Sorry do not have any company info on those. Neither do I have any info on Western Africa.
TAC from Congo Brazzaville has 1 crewd by Russians with very little flying like 150 hours a year. apparently only Russians to this type as salaries are not up to western standards.
Business Express has, I think 2 newer models flying to and from DRC and Congo Brazzaville. I have seen these in Pointe Noire, Kinshasa, Brazzaville and Libreville. I know they have European pilots on those. Seem to remeber seeing soem L410´s in Libreville as well other than Business Express.
Hope this helped a little

Salut mon gars
You can find L410s at:
- Business Aviation, Kinshasa (2).
- La Nationale, Libreville (1 or 2).
- Air Max, Libreville (1 or 2).
- STA Mali, Bamako (2)
French boss Mr. Sabague, I believe somebody on this forum works for him and can give you more info on that.
All of these companies employ at least a couple Western Europeans or South Africans so I assume the wages are reasonnable. Sorry I do not have the contacts here.
Bonne chance à toi.

about 12 of them
Try in West Africa. West Coast airlines, and the WFP. This last one is LZ registered. Sorry, don't know the operator, but will try to find out.

Hi Let 410 driver,
For Libreville the 2 air max let's are gone (parked last week at Cotonou!!) and the 410's for La nationale are gone also, they use F27's at this date.
At Libreville 3 new lets (UVPE) on lease with crews (ZS)
That's all today.
Soft landing.

West Coast Let 410
Flyer and Split Bus,
I have not seen the WFP Let lately in Sierra Leone, but have seen the one in Guinea picking up pax at Conackry last week. French is definately compulsory in Guinea.
Re West Coast Airlines ; I know the owners very well - unfirtunately they just hire the cheapest - so Bulgarians / Poles and Russians get paid peanuts flying for them.
Ons aircraft operate between lungi and Hastings airport in SL (due to Paramount Airlines being grounded with their Mi-8's) and the ferries being u/s.
Otherwise only charter work in SL, NO schedules anymore.
So they just operate out of and inside Guinea. The best to speak to is Mohammed or Uncle - spelled as "Oencle" an the desk in Conackry. Mohammed is the fat Lebanese and Uncle the dirty one with the grey shirt always sticking out, black/ grey pants, white socks and black shoes - gauranteed

Lomé L410
Hey Walker
I was based in Lomé 'til recently, and I spent a couple days there last week. The only company actually based there is Transtel, and they only operate a Viscount 800 and a B721. They are not recruiting at present, and will require RR Dart or B727 experience to get on. I have not seen or heard of a L410 there.
There is really little aviation activity in Lomé, you would be better off going to Central Africa -- Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa and the like.
Good luck.
