SAA extends deal with BA/Comair

Johannesburg - South African Airways (SAA) said on Tuesday it would service rival British Airways/Comair aircraft for another five years in a deal worth R1bn.

SAA said in a statement that its technical division - the largest maintenance facility in Africa - would service British Airways/Comair's ten B737 aircraft.

The airline's other customers include Air France, Air Seychelles, Air Zimbabwe, Alitalia, Hydro Air, Lufthansa and TAAG Angola.

Didn't think that AZ still flew into SA?

Appears that SAA are stepping into SAX maintenance after a few problems came to light in there maintenance department. Is this the start to the SAA take over I wonder?

Does F.O.A.M still handle these carriers?
