think it has ended a few months back with the Viscount grounded.
I understand it ran out of airframe life and despite the company' efforts it has not been possible to put it back on the public transport register.
As for the rest of the fleet, they had a bit of work after Air Afrique's demise but with new start up, work picked up by existing carriers, Transtel began to suffer from increased competition.
At least I think that's what happened.

Well, AMEX is exactly right as far as I know.
Transtel is broke and has ceased operating, however they have not filled for bankruptcy. They are currently looking for investors in order to put online a passenger jet aircraft. Anything more competitive than a Viscount would do... Anyway, this is just another African project so we'll see what happens with it...
You can still ring them at (228) 226 03 73 or fax (228) 226 03 40, the team has not changed.
