I'm not sure if this is useful. However, I did an assessment for DEC on B767 in August 2019 (I'm currently employed here). The first part was the interview which lasted about 20-30 minutes with VP Flight Ops and an HR person. A few technical questions (2) were asked (study the aircraft systems). " Tell us about yourself ". Previous background, etc.
The SIM assessment wasn't too difficult ( but it could be !). If you're coming as a DEC then you should have no problem. 20/10 roster pattern which suits most people.
Good luck!!

The B737 monthly salary in USD consists of $7000 (basic salary)
$1000 (housing allowance)
$1000 (per diem- $50 for 20 days)
The roster is 20 ON followed by 10 OFF (commuting contract)
It's possible for a fleet change after a few years to the larger fleets however, there is a training bond that the pilot needs to pay $25K (up-front) then another $25K which is deducted from your monthly salary (pro-rated). After 3 years the $50K is returned to the pilot. The transition training can be difficult as many have failed (your money won't be returned). Be careful!
The 777/787 CPT basic salary is $9000/month. Everything else is the same.

It's much better to stay at a hotel. The Skylight hotel is my favourite and costs $50 per night (special discount to ET captains only) (you can pay in equivalent local currency Ethiopian Birr). Breakfast is included. A lunch or dinner in the hotel costs $10 (buffet style).
On the B777 the captains that I usually meet are away from Addis a lot. Their schedule varies as they fly both pax/cargo during the 20 days.
Usually no more than 80 hours but sometimes going above this pays overtime (can be profitable). Some destinations are RUH (pax), IAD (pax), ICN (pax), LGG (cargo). A few flights to China and South America also.
Good luck!

Hi, the response time could be fast depending on their needs (maybe 1-2 days). All the fleets are quite busy at the moment and you can expect to be in Addis 6-8 days
out of your 20 days (the normal rotation for B777 captains).
Also, I would like to amend the Skylight hotel rates as of 1/1/24: $57.50 per night (not including breakfast) or $75.00 per night including breakfast.
Everything is getting expensive even in Ethiopia((
