Second officers and direct entry captains on probation were laid off earlier this week. Next on the chopping board are the rest of the pilots on permanent contract. Word is up-to !40 First Officers and Captains will be let go. As you probably can deduce, no recruitment is likely to happen soon. We can only hope the industry will recover in less than three years.
