Pole sana to all involved.

Any more news on this ? - the eye witness accounts as reported in the local press are bizarre. No fire and no reports of fuel smell at the crash site which you might think would be mentioned.

The press reports say a distress message was received, but the KCAA press release indicates that it 'received a signal....from satellite' which suggest an ELT triggered by impact. Very different from a distress call when considering cause.

From pictures, it looks like the plane clipped a tree, possibly during an attempted forced landing, and was slung into the ground. Goto ASN and look at all the links.
