Coastal Aviation Overruns Landing Strip at Lobo

A Coastal Aviation Grand Caravan 5H-THR, on a flight from Lake Manyara to Kogatende airstrip with an en-route stop at Lobo overran the strip at Lobo. The flight had a pilot and 10 passengers, and the pilot and 2 passengers were injured in the incident, though none seriously. The injured were taken to Nairobi for medical attention.

Update: everyone survives Coastal plane crash ? Dar Post

Damage is quite substantial and looks like lucky that everyone walked away! - interesting to know the circumstances, difficult airstrip due length and elevation but conditions look ok....
