MK thread removed?

Can anyone advise where the MK thread has gone? Management gunning to get pay cut can never be a good thing

My understanding, from a couple of friends at MK:

The press is repeating managements line because that is all they are getting. The pilots have a non-disclosure clause in their contract so are being quiet.

Managements new advisor who was a check airman before being removed from that post and later reinstated as a line pilot thanks to a court case has advised the company it is ok to arbitrarily ask pilots to sign a new lower pay contract with no negotiations. Rumor also has it that lower end pilots are being asked to take as much as a 25% cut in order to fund a raise for upper end pilots in order to retain them. Even senior pilots are not going for that one.

I don't know what precipitated the sick out currently going on but it could get uglier than it has over the weekend. Several pilots have been fired including the Airline Employees committee chairman and the MALPA chair. One expatriate has an injunction against deportation with a court case Monday.
The Indian President says he can give MK 50 "qualified, ready to go" pilots tomorrow.

Keep the popcorn handy.

Actually I am impressed by Mauritian journalists
who are voicing out without any fear and seem to be very well informed of the situation.

The previous Air Mauritius thread was closed/ deleted by the originator VS1g. Such is his/her right; there is nothing sinister in this thread closure.
