EDIT: This report says "a small aircraft with 9 - 11 people on board" and provides a bit more detail. Sorry I can't edit the thread title.

From AllAfrica.com:
Somalia: Kenya-Registered Plane Crashes in Southern Somalia - allAfrica.com
An aircraft chartered by the African Union Mission in Somalia (Amisom) crashed on Wednesday in a rural area in Afgoye district, south of Mogadishu.
Mr Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Sidee, the governor of Lower Shabelle region, confirmed the incident, adding that heavy rains coupled with winds may have caused the crash. Sources stated the Kenyan-registered Dornier DO-328 plane was carrying material for Amisom. Its destination was said to be Balidogle airport, a former military airstrip, 110 km south of the Somali capital. It had earlier departed from Nairobi, Kenya.
"We know that the aircraft crashed at a rural area called Osman-durre," said Governor Sidee.

According to "sources" Baledogle seems to have moved unless the USN have acquired a carrier named USS Baledogle which I doubt, though I'm betting it's still some 50NM NW of Mog rather than in the oggin south of it, ie right where it was last time I saw it.
