Jobs In Africa

I Have sneaked into your Forum from the Wannabes, I apologise.

I come to ask how to break into the world of Aviation in Africa.

I will soon have a ATPL frozen, but more relevnt a CPL, MEIR with minimum hours. I also have 6 years Aircraft Mechanics experience (Commando Helicopters) But no civil mechanics licence.

I have 6 years in the military on a Commando unit, inc. survival and other military skills.

I know in this business people keep their cards close to their chest, But Does anyone know of opportunities for a Pilot with a background such as mine. (also speak French, creature comforts not required).

Please post or email. [email protected]

To get a job in Africa you will first have to prove your worth to the country of choice. i.e. join mugabie and the mob and kick a few worthless farmers out of the country, then you must show flying skill in dodge bullit work. OK. Enough of the jokes.... You know my number. Sally has a friend who worked in Africa for 2 years with a whole load of Cessna Caravan pilots shipping stuff around the country. When you come up to london in a few weeks ask Sally for the friends number. She'll be able to put you in touch with someone out there.

Heres hoping we passed all those exams the other day!!!!!!
