Meridian airways, still alive?

Hello,

Does anyone know what happenend with this company? Are they still operating the dc8 out of ghana? I've read that the ghanese caa grounded these aircraft in February of this year. Wonder if this company is still alive. Who has more info?

Meridian have not been in operation for at least the last 2 years.

No. Iranian-American owner, Ghana registered ac, UK MOD contracts. EU didn't want the aircraft in their airspace, Nigerian big Oga expert kiss a$$ Captain flew ac without proper Mx. Convinced owner to skimp on Mx. Ac sitting in younde and Accra. Sad cause now several plumbers(PFE's) are out of work.
