Northern Benin

Anybody here ever visit any of the northern Benin strips? Need a place that has fuel (JetA1) if possible.

Tried it last year (early Nov 2013). Not possible. We asked local agencies, including goivernment what was available and was told fuel was up there and when we got a local to check found it was 200l of 4 year old fuel.

Avoid unless you can guarantee supply and quality, and in Benin I'm really not sure how to do that.

Thanks for the confirmation - did you have better luck northern Togo? Niamtougou looks like it might have fuel as the airforce and police are based there, and has a hard-strip at least.
