Getting Australian PPL recognised in Sth Africa

I'm an Australian VFR pilot who visits South Africa every two months and would like to rent a plane to explore South Africa from the air while there.

Can anyone tell me what exams etc I would need to do in South Africa in order to get my Australian PPL recognised and be able to rent something like a Cessna 182 or Mooney for a few days?
