G450 scam nigeria "jet international aviation"
JOB OFFER WAS FOR G450 Pilots via latestpilotjobs.com
Here is the latest on "JET INTERNATIONAL AVIATION"
Jet International Aviation
JET INTERNATIONAL AVIATION
57 Independence Way, Port Harcourt,
Rivers State, Nigeria
Email: [email protected]
Website: www.jetintaviationltd.com
Telephone: +234 (5) 329 0350
First thing I did was google the address...doesn't exist. 2nd thing, googled the "travel agency" that you are apparantly req'd to get the visa process done with didn't exist
(only a travel agent with "KLASS TRAVELS and TOUR" was in Kenya)
KLASS TRAVELS AND TOUR
22 East West Road,
Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria
CONTACT NAME: (Dr.) Abu Mohammed
DESIGNATION: Head of Visa/Permits Operations
EMAIL: [email protected]
PHONE: +234-903-079-404
SCAM, SCAM, and scam.
They need to be reported, not sure who, but nonetheless...
A colleague of mine and I had the skype interview for curiosity and once both of us were sent contracts (extremely professional by the way- they new what they were doing), in section V, laid out the "requirement" for 25% upfront fee to be paid in order to get the Nigerian visa, in a nutshell. Hard to spot in the contract, but there it is. Total scam...and shady op from the beginning. They advertised on latestpilotjobs as far as I am aware, probably other sites.
Although there are jobs in Nigeria, be very mindful of who you send you your info to. If a company asks for payments up front, most likely a scam artist.

Done all the search as you have came up with same info. I did skype interview etc , offered me 2 months off one month on, i told him thanks but no thanks then I get a contract same as you. but with 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, hmm
Told them i dont pay anything with my own money. I asked for serial number and registration, he gave me a G550 B registered aircraft !!! and a crew contact details which happens to show in the top address at the top of emails from jobs@ plus a uk mobile number and got no response.
Maybe report to fraud department somehow?

Since my proposal is still in progress, I'll ask few targeted questions and I'll let you know....seems to be really a fake proposal or a well organized clam!
Let me know if there is anybody with "interesting" info about it!
Thank you guys.

I love the way they're willing to ofer you business/first class travel, 20000 USD after tax, two months salary up front, etc, but they can't seem to handle the other expenses that they expect you to take care of. Yea, really good contract!!
If you want to report the site for scamming, might you consider getting in touch with Scamwarners (Internet Scam Resource| Internet Scams Exposed | Anti Fraud | Anti Scam Forums) as they are able to work miracles in closing sites etc.
........... but I suspect you already know this. Well done Duel Rated for notifiying the site where the rogue advert was placed, and for their practical and helpful response.

Está servira para distraerle.
Don't feel victimised. There are stupider people out there than on these pages even though the very money being blasted around once belonged perhaps to some of the people on these pages.
