Transafrik

I haven't been on this site in about 3 years, so I'm pretty behind. I was a Herc & 727 FE for Transafrik from 1/89 to 12/95.
I saw some photos taken last February of all 5 of Transafrik's Hercs parked at Fujairah. Then, a few months later, I was told that they moved their Hercs and all their assets to Entebbe and that everything was for sale. Now, I've heard that 2 of them are flying.
So, here's my question. Where are they flying and for whom? Also, which airplanes are they?
Thanks in advance.

PS -- They also have 5 Boeings parked in South Africa and another derelict in Luanda.

No way!!! I haven't been near an airplane or an airport since 8/03. Was just curious about Transafrik's status. I'm sure Ed Koch & Joao Rodriguez don't give a about the company any more, having made all the money they could ever spend for the rest of their lives.

Are they still around?

Just wondered if anyone knew if Transafrik were still around? Last I heard of them was after a mishap in Afganistan some years ago. I think they were operating on a Ugandan registration, but they have been a bit nomadic over the years?

I don't think they're still around.
They had their AOC revoked around 2014.

Thought I hadn't heard about them for a while. It is odd that their website is still up and running
Transafrik

I flew on the 727s for them 2000 - 2001. You learned about stick and rudder flying. Too bad I never had a camera.

Transafrik

I can give you a quick update. Transafrik are operating in Afghanistan out of one of the main airbases. Having helped set up the operation and flying on a few missions they are doing good work out there. One of their L100's which is also the same one that appeared in the latest Entebbe film that was shooting in Malta.
