Ghana fuel shortage

I heard a couple of days ago that some of the long hauls are having to divert via Nigeria after departing Accra for fuel and that some of the smaller operators in Ghana are grounded due to a significant fuel shortage. Is there any word on this or how long it will last for or how signifacant the delays are ??

Situation returns to normal

The situation returned to normal on Monday the 18 February after the main oil refinery at Tema 25km east of Accra halted production to undertake some repairs.

Still not back to normal

I was on BA78 from Accra to LHR on Friday night, 22 Feb, and experienced the same unscheduled 70-minute stop at Lagos for fuel. The BA staff at Accra said that all carriers were having to do the same thing.
All domestic flights have been cancelled for several days, leading to this interesting piece in the local media:

No fuel no NOTAM

just for your info .... there was no fuel available in Accra from lunchtime today.
NOTAM awaited with some interest.
There appear to be some serious supply chain issues at the moment as this is the third outage in the past 6 weeks.

Talking to GCAA official a few month ago, he told me the main issue was a underwater pipeline which runs from Nigeria to Ghana, got damaged by a ships anchor.
apperently the oil that comes from Ghana can not be refined in their own refinery as it has to high sulfer content.
apparently they have to export all their crude oil.
Nigeria on the other hand, one of the biggest oil producers doesn't have a refinery at all.
Please take this info with caution ,I'm not an expert in this field, but as i said was told by an GCAA official in Accra.
