Last I heard they bought out one time in order to get the routes. Would initially do the routes with the acquired MD's to eventually switch it over to the A319s, as of right now the rumour is that they still plan on opening up that route in the coming month or 2. Keep in mind that FastJet did open up in Dar very "FAST" within 3 weeks they had 3 planes and were up and running so I could see the same happening with South Africa overnight.

Fastjet had not purchased 1Time, they made an offer to purchase subject to the creditors accepting the offer. Nothing has been heard since and 1Time had applied and received an extention from court not to be fully liq. If the Fasjtet deal doesn't come through it is doubtfull that they will remain in provisional liq. With opposition from Mango that is now being integrated into SAA, and objections from other local carriers aswell there is very little chance of Fastjet putting 319s on local routes with local crews. Fastjet will be flying into SA from Dar etc. Then there is also the issue of % ownership.
