Planned NCAA, parallel runway and Terminal 2 for Hosea Kutako International

Seems like the Namibian government is committed to improving air transport infrastructures across the country. It'll be good to see a healthy and sustainable air transport industry. One wonders how the radar project is progressing...

A second runway? What for? Why don't they just build a few taxiways to start with.

I second you Fuzzy Lager, that airport needs other essentials like proper parking bays, air bridges, you name it... In my opinion, parallel runway is nor required at this stage

The current runway is falling apart. Has been rehabilitated twice already. Secondly, existing runway is too close to the terminal building for CATIII operations.
