South Africa's excuse for a President, the corrupt rapist who thinks you can avoid AIDS by showering, also has one.

Not wanting to be outdone by Gabon, he will no doubt be ordering a 380 before the year is out.

Boys and their toys!

Zazoo - I think you will find that Omar Bongo ordered the aircraft prior to his departure! In fact it has been some five years since purchase through to completion!

At one point a sale was considered due to the negativity of public opinion on such an aircraft. However, they've gone ahead and accepted it now.

Sometimes I often wonder if these guys wanted to be aviators when I see the choice of aircrafts they purchase.

Oh well at least some of my colleagues get to have a job flying them and personaly I would....

Just to clarify, this deal has been stopped by government, no new aircraft will be ordered...for now...the 777 deal was almost done but after a lot of opposition to it government decided against it.

A decision on a new presidential jet will probably only now happen after the next elections, seeing as Mr Zuma might lose out, lots of in fighting in the ruling party still needs to play out.
