Never work for first nation airways in Lagos

Dear all.
i resigned my position as pilot at first nation in Lagos afte 15 days.
They don't pay you,they lie,they cheat.
90% of pilot leave afte 2-3 months.
They don't respect contract.the rotation is 8 weeks on 2 off ,but after that they obblige you to stay unti the Ceo decides you can go.
The contract says they pay you since the first day you arrive in Lagos, but they
give you money since the first day of flight.
They ask you to arrive a business VISA with you can't work,if you don't know Nigerian laws you risk with immigration .
They have at the moment all a/cs aog because the last 2 techs ( from turkey)
one b1 and one b2 escaped to turkish embassy when they asked their money .
Unfortunately for them the company got their passport to obtain the permanent working VISA and when they ask for passport back they say no.
If you Are a pilot and you want to leave for rotation( they pay your tkt) they cancel it do not allow you to leave Nigeria.
All menagement is not bus rated ,they Are disorganized,a/cs are not safety and when they find another b1 they fly just with one.
So please if you Are pilot or engig. Please don't go.
I escaped.

Tough out there

So, what happened to the rumored infusion of cash by Bola Tinubu? Perhaps Odukoya wants to keep debts down to a minimum from the word go, which maybe ans that debts are inevitable if they were to hire staff and fly all three jets today. Proof that new investors had better think hard before entering the fray. Given this backdrop, Dana's rumored preparation for a third MD83 calls for celebration

@ 737-NG: hehehehehehehehe @ ICAO Level 4.

@ andreah: Tell the stranded Engineers to make this a diplomatic issue, the Turkish Embassy should publicly condemn the situation, if this is a true allegation. They should also report said operator to the Minister of Aviation. Someone needs to correct and stop this type of incidents.

@ dash200: Story i heard is that Baba was oblivious to all the damage/murders/starvation committed by this notorious fellow in the past. No.8 got cold feet when Eurocontrol's outstanding 8/9 year bills popped up and NCAA couldn't issue operating documents blah blah. Its actually a wonder how they got permission to start flying, but hey no be Naija.

Not any more! The 419 scam is worldwide. Why, just the other day I had an e-mail about how '$5,438.22 has been paid into your account,' and so-on, just a spam about how I need to sign up for some sure-fire money-maker.

We were talking this over at breakfast, when someone said it's only six in a thousand who bite on such stupid things, but those six are the ones you can fool every time. The Nigerians were simply among the first to fleece their suckers with letters, then faxes, and now e-mails, but as long as greed and stupidity are with us there will be scammers and victims.
