And do they need an old Air Malawi skipper from years ago who has 10,000 hours 737 and loads of Africa experience ? Would give my right arm to go back and finish my career where I started , oh , and train the next generation along the way . PM me if you know anything , please !

Mtchungula passed away last year and Air Malawi is currently on the brink of bankruptcy and only barely keeping 1 a/c (the 1993 ATR 42) airborne.
Sad times for Malawi aviation. Should have sold and privatized a few years ago.
Swift Air not doing much better, still haven't received their full Malawi AOC and have been operating a variety of leased aircraft since April last year. High fuel costs, low yields usually spell the end for any carrier.
