Sad that, according to pilotcareercentre.com, they will only recruit Algerian citizens.
I enjoyed working in Algier (albeit for a Turkish company)a couple of years ago & would have been interested in a 738 job with Tassili, but it seems, pas possible ?

Thanks for that, I thought anyhow to make contact & put a C.V in the system.
Do you have any idea when the next new 738's are due ?

Also, out of interest, where did the last Commanders come from, ex Air Algerie, or DHC8 Skippers converted on type ? or nationals who had been working abroad looking for opportunity to come home ?
Just trying to get an idea how many home-born "Candidates" they have available before they have to open the door to foreigners.

Hey, for new deliveries i don't know, i believe that most of the pilots hired are from Khalifa Airways, there are not more than a dozen algerian pilots who are training or have been trained as self sponsors everybodyelse has been hired already, this is as far as i can tell, hope it helps. c yah.

Thanks, I am going to try & find out anyhow. Could be quite a nice position with the right roster. Met a couple of Tassili guys in Hassi a few years ago, seemed a nice company.

I'm sorry to tell you that they are a little bit more than a dozen !

Tassili has currently a holding pool for some positions in Tassili Agro (Agrucultural a/c). From what I heard they have more than 120 CVs (most of them low timers).

Hope it helpls !

Dear Massi

Firstly : I never heard of this 120 low timers CV's, it doesn't mean they don't exist but didn't hear about that yet.

Secondly: tassili agro is a diffrent co and are not gonna take anyone outside of their cadet training programe wich they already started exept for the instructors. c yah

in algeria to realy access those jobs you have to have very good contacts and relation ..its very hard for a simple citizen to get there..if you see most new generation air algerie´s pilotes for example you will find that nearly all of them are son´s of ministers ..army generals ...etc... even the Presidents has his nefue as a 737-800 captain there..

it's true, might be sad but that's reality even in compagnies where you never expect it, trust me.
