Gryphon phone interview

Greetings,

I might have an interview over the phone with this Airline in the near or far future. Anyone here who know anything about this interview? Thanks for any info!

No, they have their offices in JHB. Don't know much about them except they have one or more MD-80srs/DC-9-32

The airline is from south africa but they operate from Kuwait and Dubai. Not sure they will continue with recruitment since the US is getting out of Iraq but I wanna check on the forums if someone might know what to expect on the interview.

Hi

The only Gryphon institution I know of is the flight school at Lanseria airport.
They specialize in initial turbine and general turboprop conversions e.g. Caravan and PC-12 ratings.

Sorry to ask the obvious - are you sure about the "airline" part of your question?

AFAIK they operate 3 MD82/83 aircraft.... 2 leased from Global Aviation in SA, and one from Swiftair (Spanish Reg). See them flying into Afghanistan quite often, under an ISAF callsign.
