Shocking Atc At Kmia

Is it just me or is the ATC at KMIA AIRPORT in Nelspruit way below the standards of other ATNS operations.

We have had so many near misses in the area and to top it on Friday ,one of our aircraft was short short finals for runway 23 when a caravan was given a take off clearence('' cleared for imeadiate take off runway 05 without stopping'' )

The chap in the 206 quickly advised he was short finals 23 and ATC cancelled the caravans take off clearence 05- YES WHAT A MESS,this could have had serious consequences.

The ATC at kmia are arrogant, and in my opinion are totaly under trained
and lack field experience.

I wonder what others feel re this situation?

same thing happend to me back in the states at KBED one of the best controlled airfields IMO except I was on the ground and did not move because of course I knew I couldn't make it out before the approaching aircraft even after given clearance.

Fly your own airplane thats what I always say.

Well I hope you filed an incident report with ATNS, cos if you didn't you have no right to complain on here about the shocking ATC. Reporting incidents of bad controlling to ATNS is the ONLY way that this dreadful controlling at Kruger will get adressed
