Malawi airlaw
Hey all.
I am on my way to Malawi within a week or two. I know the Malawian law exam is an open book exam, but I can't seem to find any info on the net.
My question is, is commercial single piston IF legal in Malawi or just for non commercial flights? Or maybe not even legal at all?
Thanks in advance...

Thanks a lot. I thought it was the same as most African countries but struggle to find any info on the web.
And I don't think I'm gonna fly above FL145...
Do you perhaps know of a website where I can get the Malawi law?
Thanks yet again...

I dont think you will need more than 30 minutes studying to pass the exam so dont worry...by the way dont forget to buy a cold coke on the BP filling station in front of the DCA for the licensing officer

Haha. So I've heard yes. Will remember to get that coke. its amazing whats possible to get right in Africa. I just want to get the law on the internet to confirm whether or not I have to renew my IF before I go to Malawi.
Do you perhaps have a website where I can find it? Not the complete Malawi law, just the part about single IF

this is a place where their DCA has an "email engineer". There a very few computers anywhere in their DCA office, I have gone in there and been given old copies of the airlaw (was just a loose stack of papers) and told those were good enough. Don't waste to much time trying to find the info online, would amaze me if it was there
