Arik Air Expat Cabin Crew
I dont see anything wrong with Arik Air, going back to the drawing board, and having to let expart cabin crew go. Having gone through most of the threads from the earlier part of this year,it appears it was a departed MD, JH who set up all the expart cabin crew for the 330 fleet.
Arik managment are just undoing, what was not neccessary in the first place.....Good on them, that they have deemed it fit, to try and turn things around for a positive future.
Paying salaries, as close to contractual dates......a positive future no doubt

Sorry? our understanding is that Arik made a few cabin crew redundant (which they recruited from London) a few months ago, the rest are working 10 days on in Nigeria doing the shuttles (staying in hotle) and then days off back in London........whats going on then?

They are keeping all 9 senior cabin crew (from London).
Then there is 26 main crew and they are getting rid of 17, to leave 9 main crew.
They were supposed to find out on Friday, 5 Nov 10, who it is going to be. They may get 2 weeks notice.

why? they only recruited for cabin crew in London this year? didnt they also have a London base manager? why are they keeping only 9 senior crew? will those 9 still continue to spend 10 days in Nigeria and the rest in the UK
