Lanseria question
Does anyone know what happened to Andre and where he is now ?
We were sitting around a few pints last night talking of old times and just about everyone knew him. He was a fair bit older than me so he would have retired a while ago.

Last seen this year , Andre Kemp, was still the LA bossman.Surely still current. Remember well the days working with Bo, Andre, Herman and Charles ( all municipality employed then) -they had a good thing going back then 'running' LA - and WELL connected

Are we talking about the same Andre ?
He was in the tower when it was Lanseria Information in 1975 when I did my PPL and was certainly older than me. Looks can be deceiving, some people age much better than others.
He was still there in the mid 1980s the last time I saw him.

I Know only Andre Kemp, dad is a retired airline rilot, Andre Was there when I worked in ATC , 1987, And I know that the same Andre is still there as the boss.

What a genuine, professional, efficient, composed and friendly ATC.
I've spent many hours up there in FALA tower as instructor (sending guys solo) and can vouch for him.
I think he has a PPL or CPL and understands what its like in the cockpit when it gets hectic.
