Dass Petro Limited Nigeria

Good morning to everybody.

I just received an Emplyement letter with a term & conditions letter from this company from Nigeria.

I'm trying to find any information about them, because I couldn't find nothing, no plane pictures, nothing regarding planes in their website.

Does anybody know something about them?

That's the main reason I'm asking here, because they send me the pre-contract, and terms and conditions, with everything, basic salary, allowance, housing, travelling tickets, etc.

They say me that they have 747,737 and Callenger 600.

They are requesting me to send all the documents to a parter called CLIMAX TRAVEL AND TOUR to make my visa, work permit and everything.

Can anybody tell me anything about them?

I am not really sure about that "company".

Since you got an employment letter, it means you must have applied for a job. You should have done your homework then. Were you interviewed? I work in the industry in Nigeria and can categorically tell you that such an airline doesn't exist.

I would advise you not to even respond to the employment letter. And if you do, don't come back here crying because you've been warned. RUN!!

Also got an offer from them few years ago.
good package, type rating paid, a lot of OFF time etc.....
but you have to send money (500$) to a lawyer, to get your contract and visa.
this Scam has been on for years now.
i use to fly a lot to Lagos never saw this company and could never get any informations.

I don't remember now, but I saw a pilot vacancy.

Im sure that's a scam, offered a boeing type paid by them, two month on 1 off, tickekt during the month off,

many thanks to everyone on this thread. I am not a pilot but a construction manager. I recieved an application form for a job I couldnt remember applying for - and being fairly wise to scams, my immediate thought was to just laugh. HOWEVER, as I am quite desperate for a job - and the offer was not quite as appalling as most scams, rather than send them any information asked them to send me a copy of my original application.

Quite fighteningly they did - I had, through a uk job site I regularly use. So, painstakingly I converted their pdf form and filled it in (albeit luckily I remained on guard and declined to reveal my passport details).

SO this morning when it was confirmed as recieved, rather than get excited I dug a bit further - and was amazed at how sofisticated these guys are - proper web site and email address, listing in business pages.

I am only glad I found your web thread first - thanks very much!. Its very upsetting when you really need a job to have these scum try it on.

Job Scams

This is the same company as Solac Engineering, even the same telephone numbers. You have to pay upfront for flights and hotel accommodations via their "Travel Operators"
