Arrow A little bit Cheeky.

Hey Boys and Girls.

This is a little bit cheeky but I really need some direction. I am involved in a company that operates Cessna 208 B Caravans.

We are now interested in trying out the Contract market. We already have a possible contract lined up but there are allot of logistics involved and I don't even know where to start. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

How do I go about drawing up a lease agreement for contract purposes? Anyone have an example I can look at?

It will probabbly be a straight ACMI lease. The aircarft will probabbly be on the ZS register but we are open to change if nessisary.

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

The solution is fairly obvious I think.
If you are in business and you want to enter into the very dangerous world of contracts then it is best not to try and cut corners. Pay a specialist lawyer, in this case an aviation lawayer, to draw up a standard form of contract for you. That will you give a base line. After that, any serious contractual undertaking can be examined and refined by your lawyer and signed in his office with coffee and koeksisters afterwards.
There are one or two specialist aviation lawyers but probably any decent commercial lawyer would do the job. Any home grown solution is likely to be embarrassing at best and -you know-cost a bomb at worst.
