Private flying in Mauritius

Can anyone confirm that there are no private / club aircraft available to rent in Mauritius?

I'm off for a two week holiday on the island and if there is a chance I would like to fly there.

Tks.

If it is true that there are no a/c to hire on Maritius, you should go to Reunion instead.

But if you travel from an EU country, you can't buy any Duty Free 'cos you stay in the EU.

There are a couple of Ultralights and a 182 but the latter is used for parachuting. The Ultralight can be hired for sightseeing but I dont know if you can hire them to fly. Ill try to find out.
