Contract in Africa

Can someone give me some info about contracts in africa.
I'm may have an opportunity to go there but i have no idea about conditions, pay, overhall operation condition.. etc
if someone can give me details about what to check, what to take care of..! Any info would be appreciated.

pretty much, all you need to know...
as much of an official source as you can get, knowing any "in country" sources are suspicious at best.

Africa is such a vast place that no generalities can be made about it. Where you go will determine the climate, environment, religion, and ethnicity...

Pay and living conditions will depend who you fly for...

Hi!

There is a lot of paying lot, and not paying.

I know of some guys that are owed 6 mos to 24 mos of back pay.

West Africa is pretty bad flying conditions. Eastern Africa is pretty good.

That depends on what part of Eastern Africa you're in.

Kenya is usually decent, Tanzania is a mixed bag. Not much going on in Rwanda or Burundi and Uganda has numerous low or no paying places. Somalia - well if you're going there usually you're with a legit operator. DRC - forget it. Sudan - same.

I'm looking to to senegal for a short time training period (3-4 month)
How does it work when you come back home with this money... is it tax free because it was earn outside canada or do i have to pay the same as if i worked in canada ?
