KQ 764 diversion Harare - 05/10/09
I was booked on KQ 765 JHB to Nairobi scheduled to depart 0040B on 05 Oct, at 0100B we received a letter from KQ's station manager in JHB stating that the flight was divereted for technical reasons to Harare. Seems strange to divert to Zim when JHB has the technical facilities available, unless it was a serious problem.
Anybody know whether the flight actually diverted or is it smoke and mirrors from Kenya Airways??

We arrived there early on the morning of the 5th to find a KQ 737-700 parked on the apron. Wasn't energised at all- looked like it had at least spent the night at HRE...
