Possible aircraft graveyard in Namibia

The german language newspaper from Namibia is reporting today of plans by the main opposition party, DTA , to open a aircraft storage/graveyard facility near/at Keetmanshoop in the south of the country.
The party says that the idea is part of its proposed business plan for Namibia, should the DTA attain a majority seat count in the upcoming elections.
According to a spokesperson, the location is well suited for aircraft storage, due to the local climate.
