Hillary Clinton in SA......

Which airfields did she use and what equipment did she come on?

Their modified 757?

Anybody have any idea as to what other aircraft accompanied her on her visit.

Quote: “....and yes she arrived on the 757.”

You mean she arrived on a private jet after all the outcry about motor industry executives using private jets last year? How absolutely two faced! Obviously one rule for the politicians and another for the masses. How much extra oil was squandered and how much extra greenhouse gases put out on this unnecessary extravagance?

carrier, a 757 is not extravegant for a US SecState

If I'm not mistaken, she's the fifth most powreful person in the most powreful nation on earth. Even aside the pervasive threat of terrorist attacks, the sheer scope of her trip in terms of distance, never mind time constraints, is achievable only by the resources their best can offer. And I suppose it would be the MAC.

ibhayi seems upset about 3 G550s.Oh dear...

The gentleman should come to Nigeria, where public hospitals lack very basic amenities, power outages occur several times EVERYDAY, the public water supply isnt safe, the roads are awful, the national airline, shipping line, and fishing company went belly up and see what our leaders fly: A BBJ, a G5SP, a GIVSP, 2 Falcon 900s, a Hawker 1000, 2 Hawker 800s and a Citation V.
It's only recently that a fit of conscience or whatever it was caused the Prez to pass a Hawker 800 and the Citation to the Air Force.
And for that matter, they'd wanted to buy the Sultan's original A340 ! But with your better standards of public probity, you gripe over three Gulfstreams? Pulease!

tion

Yup!
She arrived this morning in Abuja @ 0652. No Fanfare no reception party! Just the lone 727-200W. on the Main ramp.
Was wondering whom she really pissed off. They sat there for about 40 mins before anyone approached the aircraft or the door opened.. Reminds me of a few months ago when the chairman of Fina/Total came to port Harcourt to open a new Oil rig. He had the whole 9 yards. Closed airspace vip reception band Cobra helicopter escorts to even the pres and the Govner were there to kiss his Ass!
Good ole Hil & Bil......Inceperable.
