I was in Rodrigues last year and on a little boat-trip to a smaller island our guide was a lady that worked for the previous airline, called CatovAir. She then told me how they were bullied out of business by Air Mauritius. Then she mentioned already that there were investors trying to set-up a new airline to serve flights from Rodrigues to Mauritius and Reunion and later on Madagascar and South Africa. But that was more than a year ago, so not sure if this is it then? Would be great for them!
