Icao Cpl To Saa Cpl

What does an Icao Cpl license holder ( type rated) need to do before s/he flies a south african registered aircraft? Do i have to convert my license or just need it to be validated? I Just need the license to fly an SA registered aircraft which i am already type rated on.

Thanks

From what I just heard on my last trip over you can get a 2 year validation.

The CAA are pretty prompt with their online queries. I'd check them out.
