Help with Let 410 conversion

Try Orsmond Aviation in Bethlehem who were the agent for the Let 410 operations and can assist with training and maintenance. Also Danie Terblanche based in Nelspruit (Leo Air) is rated to do the conversions. Hope this helps

Do you have a rough estimate how much it may cost?

Its not so easy to get a LET rating, Air-tec who are the only legit operator of lets in SA have no lets in SA theyare all on contract, expect to wait up to six months for a convex.... Oh they charge around USD3500 for the convex. Thats if they employ you, otherwise LET factory as mentioned above.

Still its a great aerie! Miss them somewhat... However not the contracts....

The question is whether you want a legit LET410 rating or not.

If yes, the people above have listed some good options.

If no, there are plenty of craphole countries on this continent that have a bunch of LET410 operators who'd love to give you a job and aviation authorities who'd sell you a type rating for about $500US dollars.
