Well, they operated yesterday morning to Abuja from Lagos.

Touched down in Abuja about 11:30am local. Was at the holding point R22 when they landed.

Looks like they started revenue flights.

Dana Air

Greetings,
Have you seen anymore Dana Air MD-80's flying? I am currently an MD-80 captain in the US layed off and have had offer from them to fly. Do you know anything else about them.

Dana starting flying a week back. They currently have 2 MD 83s flying and i understand they are expecting more.

Has anyone seen a Dana Air MD-83 flying lately(Jan.09). I am thinking of being a CA on one and wondered if anyone has any info.

Do yourself a favour mate.
Stay well clear of that set up for now, until you know for sure whats going on.
Don't be lured by promises and verbal garbage. Let the airline stabilize a bit before lending your tentacles.
Its not a very friendly environment to get stuck in.

WWI: DO U still want info? I was just at a job fair in KMIA, and met with the recruiter.

Any employees of Dana here: What is it like living in Lagos, is anyone commuting, and what is the job like, overall???
