Zimbabwe is about the last place you should try. The whole economy has been wrecked by Mugape and Air Zim has a problem keeping its planes operating because of fuel and parts shortages due to ludicrous exchange rates and lack of foreign exchange. Suppliers do like to be paid in real currency!
In any case if you are just starting it is unlikely that you will be in anyone's national airline. You will probably start out in a C206 or C210. Suggest you look at Botswana, Namibia, Tanzania and Zambia. Do a search and you should find plenty on the opportunities in those countries. Good Luck!
