EK Eng. Failure Ex NBO
On the 18th May EK 722, NBO-DXB has a return to land after on engine failure o take off. The flight returned to Nairobi followed by a successful out come. Congratulations to to all the crew on that flight for a job well done.
I am not interested in the reason behind the return to land, just grateful for your professionalism and a job well done.
Unfortunately, the EK ground reps in both NBO and DXB spoiled all the gloss of your good work. The ground staff were absolutely hopeless. Sorry.

At least the pilot knew that after V1 there was no stopping, not like the Air Zim crew in Lilongwe a couple of weeks back who where rotating when they had a birdstrike, but still elected to brake and blow all the tires on the main landing gear....Africa for you.
