Trying to justify yourself now? Anyone can bring a B1900 to Tanzania anytime. The fact of the matter is that Mr.Slick is a professional conman and brings down the reputation of professional pilots and general aviation in Tanzania.
How would you feel if TC didn't pay your salary all of a sudden and then the CEO vanishes leaving debts and the company in shambles?
Even his close friends have been conned including Capt A who entrusted him with his 406 aircraft. Mr Slick then gave him a title deed of his house as guarantee for US$90K. He disappears for a few months then returns to Tanzania claiming Capt.A stole the title. He even reported him to the police.
Three aircrafts were impounded by Phoenix aviation in Kenya. 1 aircraft was released because the owner paid the outstanding bills left by Mr Slick. The other two aircrafts are still rotting and incurring parking fees at Wilson airport. The list continues as people have just informed me of the situation.
Now Hola 406, you are a young..YES YOUNG!!!..pilot, do you still want to spoil your reputation too by be friending and defending this conman for his actions. Do you still admire him?

I'm going to stick up for my friend 406 here
Firstly he's actually NOT a "young pilot" he is one of the most experienced former GA pilots with a CLEAN RECORD in TZ so you need to get your facts straight there.
Also A is just as crooked as slick so don't be fooled!!! As far as i'm concerned with A loosing out was just another conman getting conned
If you don't think there are any other conmen operators in TZ then you better open your eye's buddy coz there is a long list of them!!!!!! Thats Aviation in Africa!!!!

Who is clean
Of ALL the companies in TZ, please tell me which operator is 'clean'?
Some would appear to be...after a series of name changing to avoid the obvious which is equally dubious/wrong.
This business is for crooks OR the rich.
My observation, I might be wrong.

Ok here is my 30 000 000 000 Zim dollars worth.
First of all I have to say I respect 406 loads, not for his pilot skills though, I hear you lost a lot of weight well done!!! So they dont have to ballast out that Dash 8 huh
But I have to say this man, you cant say much for your boy. I have in the past wished his company the best because I didn't want my mates and other fellow pilots to be out of work. So I was of the opinion that people should not slag him off on pprune but look at me now, I have egg on my face, people still lost their jobs and others lost a load of money...the knockers were right
I have not talked to "slick" for years, call it professionally distancing myself.
As far as A goes...anyone who has ejected out of a Mig 21 is ok by me

Sorry for the intrusion in this lovely Club. My believe is that he did all these stories also being supported by a lot of other people… investors, friends and TCCA included.
However he had the courage to start a nice dream …very hard to do …but still a nice dream. It could be gone in better way, unfortunately for everybody it went in the worst direction.

yea 406 those fonts are too big man..yo samjet u need to make thse smaller.. ur taking too much space on pprune..so please need the space for more interesting comments rather thn u complaining jst bcoz sme1 had the courage to evn start something called SAFARI EXPRESS.

Captain A is the most honest bloke you have ever met. He takes his religion seriously which keeps him like that. He is so honest in fact he doesn't know when not to tell you that you are a çun+ and thats where his arrogance shows.
The fact that he doesn't pay much, doesn't make him a crook only a busniess man. Taking the deed to the house as insurance was a smart move in the best interest of his company, not a scam to con anyone into giving up their assets.
Congrats on the little one helldog. As for diets, I would recommend divorce

And there was something fishy going on between the kaburu lesser and a WIL operator regarding those 1900 . Fairly complex story actually.
