SAAF Fighter Ace Passes On

See on SAAFA website that Johnny Human has passed away after a fine innings of I believe 95. A real gent who flew biplanes operationally, Hawker Hartbees East Africa 1940. I believe he managed to get shot down in one while strafing...and may have even managed a kill or two. He ended the war as a Wing Commander with the privelage of putting his initials on his personal spit. Apparently if a Sqn had had a hard time Johnny would take it upon himself to join them for the toughest assignments....Aviation could do with more leaders like him! Hambe Gahle Baba...
