Hidden Gem airfields in SA

If you were doing a 2-3 week flying tour of SA and Namibia in a Cessna 172/182 and didn't want to pay through the nose for accommodation, but wanted to spend time in places with character...

...which airfields would you visit?

thanks in advance!

Here's a beut!

Vredendal in the Northern Cape, about 20Nm south of Springbok, and so not too far south of the Namibia border. Great little town, everything you need, and only 20-odd mins from great beaches by hire-car

Wild Coast, Ficksburg, coastline between East London and Cape Town.

What the heck, entire SA coastline is good but particularly GA friendly between East London and Mosselbay.

My good friend Trevor Grant knew the owners. He loved to fly in there. (Killed in a Plane crash a couple years ago.)
