sa227 or b1900 type, which is more useful in Africa?
I have the opportunity to choose between training in a sa227 and a b1900, and my goal is, after working for this company for a few years, to go to Africa and work. Which type rating would give me the best chance of getting a job in Africa? I suspect a 1900 would be more useful, but how common is the sa227?

Go for the 1900 TR
The B200 and the B1900 are the most common in Africa. The PT6 engine seems to handle the hot and high temps that are commonplace in the continent.
