EC

Thanks for the info.

Saw the first one few days back parked at the ATCL hangar here in DAR.

My friends are waiting for the instructor to do a bit of upper air work and renew their expired licences.

Good news for DASH-8 folks

To the Navy Skippers!

Hi guys,
I saw you making bad landings when you were doing your base training in last week, keep it up!
Any latest news on the day that you are going to start operating? Any new routes?
Cheers!

I see that Air Tanzania is to add 4 more weekly flights to JNB from 14 May...DAR-ZNZ-JNB...shown to be with 737-200, this while the usual daily flight is shown to be with A320?

Thats right !

Air Tanzania is shifting from almost 40 years with Boeing to Airbus !

Eventually the whole fleet will be full airbus except for domestic turbo props.

A320

"Painted and on the ground in El salvador" adding to the point, 'and registered as well'! 5H-MWH.
Why is it not here? It is a million dollar question.
"Heard there were problems with airbus deal"?...

Lowbypass, the famous Chief Pilot is in El salvador to sort out the A320 issue so hopefully he will come back with it soon.
Some senior drivers are leaving in next week for training.
All the best to them.

Thanks for the info TC737, it sounds like a great plan for ATC without proper planning.

Hiring Pilots ????

Hi Guys . . . . .

I have heard that Air Tanzania is hiring Pilots with zero experience i.e only
CPL/IR and 50% of the training cost from Foreign nationals. Is this news true ????? What is the salary scale for newly inducted FO and do they give some allowance during the training.

Regards.
