Taildragger hour building in South Africa.
Does anyone know of any good places that have Super Cubs or similar taildraggers that could be used for hour building in South Africa...recommendations appreciated, thanks.

Progress flight academy doesn't have a luscombe, it does however have a C-120. Unfortunately it is not in service as it is being rebuild. So no luck there.
Try APTRAC in Port Elizabeth, they have access to a citabria for doing ratings and basic aerobatics. Also many of the flying schools in the Johannesburg area have access to taildraggers.
Have fun with the hour building!!

click on the following link for others doing taildragger conversions in Gauteng and neilspruit areas (and persons experiencing the same problem as you) complete with contact names and tel numbers (just scroll down the forum)

it should put you on the correct path
PS I fly a taildragger myself (correction.. used to fly a tail dragger until recently I decided to see which is harder, my prop or tarmac........... the tarmac won )
