Do you mean safe on the streets or safe to fly? Tanzania is fairly safe on the streets if you use abit of common; and Zanzibar pretty good if you stay off the beaches at night. Generally it's better than Kenya by a long way. Flying is just the usual - heavy at times but good fun - depends alot on the operator. Cheers - Rafiki.

ATR driver did you see the job for Dash 8 in last weeks flight for Tanzania, with a company Barrack Gold
ATR or similar experience acceptable.I know the company, good payers. I flew a few one offs for them into DRC goood potential there to pay the bills. I believe it will be going to and fro and fro and to the mines in eastern DRC. ie BUNIA area but sounds like a full on ex pat status as opposed to my other portents of gloom and doom.
