I was reading through the African forum and found nothing interesting, so I thought I'd start a new thread. Only thing is; I can't think of anything interesting to say?
Help...?

Is this on topic? You decide...
Another airport robbery
Durban - Six gunmen made off with an undisclosed amount of money after they robbed a Fidelity guard at Virginia Airport, north of Durban on Friday afternoon, KwaZulu-Natal police reported.
The gunmen opened fire on the guard, who was carrying two money bags to a Fidelity vehicle that was parked at the airport around 4.30pm, Superintendent Vasie Naidu said.
She said the guard dropped the bags and ran for cover in nearby bushes.
The gunmen grabbed a bag and fled on foot for about 500 meters before disappearing.
The guard sustained minor facial wounds and no other injuries were reported.
Naidu said the guard had just landed at the airport after collecting money from Durban's far north areas.

I think that we should campaign to get this topic archived. Just think that future generations could really benefit from reading posts like these.

Who's that dozy Crash Thing (or whatever) anyway? This is a highly intellectual, African-chat-group; and we won't tolerate any of your sleepy, Northern Hemisphere hangovers here! So, next time you you say so much in so few words, make sure that they at least mean something!!!

Here it is:
SAfricans crash in jungle
Accra, Ghana - A light DHL courier aircraft crashed in the Ghanaian jungle, but there were no fatalities and the three South African crew members escaped with minor injuries, an aviation official said on Sunday.
Edward Akuhene, safety director at Ghana's Civil Aviation Authority, told Reuters the plane had crash-landed near the West African country's southern town of Tarkwa on Saturday and was badly damaged.
"The three crew members were injured but they've been discharged from hospital this morning and been checked into a hotel," he said, adding they were all South African nationals.
He said the plane came from Ivory Coast's main city Abidjan and was on its way to Lagos in Nigeria when Abidjan airport received a distress call from the crew. The three were later rescued by Ghana Air Force helicopters.
The cargo on board had been secured, he said, but no black box had yet been retrieved.
